With more than 10 years experience, Shannon is committed to educating and empowering employers to better understand, become involved and take control of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing of their workforce and be leaders within their industry.
Shannon delivers expert advice on both physical and psychological injury management/prevention and early intervention strategies. Shannon is experienced and qualified in all aspects of assessment and provision of service delivery, including ergonomic and workplace assessments, functional capacity evaluations, initial needs assessments and self managed health programs. Shannon is passionate and dedicated to early intervention, education and health promotion within the workplace.
Shannon completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at James Cook University in 2005 and has been working as an Occupational Therapist since completing her degree. Shannon has previously worked with a rehabilitation provider, where her clients included, but not limited to TAC, Department of Human Services and Department of Veteran Affairs. Previously, she worked at Epworth Rehabilitation and Robinvale District Health Services.
Shannon is also a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and has a wide range of skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy processes and techniques.
